1. Make sure your have good photos!
Photos are required for booking on-camera roles, and your photos must reflect what you currently look like, or rather how you are able to attend a booking if working on set tomorrow.
For more tips, check out the Photo Guide!
2. Set up your casting profile to success!
- Make sure your measurements are completely filled out and are up to date! This is essential if you want to work on any time period costume films or tv series. Include other "Appearance" details such as hair color and length, eye color, portrayable ethnicities, and body type.
- Highlight any skills you have, such as dancing, martial arts, medical or musical instrument expertise. They could make you a better fit for a role that requires specific abilities with a higher rate of pay. You can also upload your Stand In resume.
- Add any props, uniforms, or vehicles you could potentially be booked with for an added pay bump. Please only add things you own or can provide on hand.
3. Ensure that your contact info is always accurate.
The chances of getting booked increases with quick response time (not always, but often). We recommend you opt-in and enable your profile to receive SMS/Text messages. This setting is found on your profile in the “Contact” section.
4. Act professionally on set.
We often get feedback from production and it's great to know someone we've booked on their set made a great impression and can better your chances on being a reliable hire, but also increases the chance that production will request your return for possible recurring continuity roles.
Take a moment to review your profile at Artist Profile, complete every section, and update your photos. A polished, up-to-date profile puts you ahead and increases your chances of getting noticed and booked.
